Job description

As a dedicated professional, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the implementation of effective health and safety management systems across various projects.

With your expertise, you will be responsible for coaching employees to promote a positive culture on site. This includes supporting project managers in developing and maintaining robust health and safety protocols.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks, as well as facilitate regular toolbox meetings to discuss local health and safety concerns.

Your ability to influence site workers and management alike will be crucial in reinforcing safe behaviors and addressing at-risk behaviors in the field.

Additionally, you will conduct incident investigations, support return-to-work plans, and champion health and safety inspections to ensure compliance with industry standards.

Ultimately, your goal will be to contribute to creating a healthy, safe, and environmentally responsible work environment that aligns with our organization's commitment to excellence.Required skills and qualifications

  • Demonstrated experience as a Health and Safety Advisor on high-risk civil projects
  • Background in tunnel construction and/or Fiber-Reinforced Polymer (FRP) project experience is highly valued
  • Experience working in FIFO or DIDO environments with contractors
  • Formal OSH qualifications such as Cert IV or Diploma
  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessment
