The company has a diverse membership base, comprising large and small farms, individuals, families, and corporate bodies. The team of four provides a range of services, including a BAS accredited payroll service, support for an insurance service, and administration support for various entities.

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced District Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating with the Board in the development of organizational strategy and priorities, promoting and supporting the CANEGROWERS membership base, and recruiting and leading staff to maintain appropriate resources.

The ideal candidate will have experience as a Senior Manager reporting to a Board, a strong understanding of corporate governance principles, and clear communication skills. They will also have experience in negotiation, collaboration, and stakeholder relationship management, as well as a relevant degree qualification and experience working in an agricultural environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Board in the development of organizational strategy and priorities
  • Promote and support the CANEGROWERS membership base through innovative business development strategies
  • Recruit and lead staff to maintain appropriate resources
  • Coordinate communications to members, stakeholders, and the local community
  • Monitor and direct business performance using forecasts, budgets, and targets
  • Support the CANEGROWERS Tully Board in progressing members' best interests
  • Hold the position of Company Secretary for three entities
Requirements
