About the Role

The Financial Operations Specialist will be responsible for processing all fortnightly payrolls and payroll-related matters, ensuring accuracy and integrity of payroll system data. This role will also support Accounts Receivable and act as a backup for Accounts Payable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process end-to-end payroll for over 50 staff members
  • Perform monthly wages reconciliations
  • Calculate annual leave and staff entitlements as required
  • Interpret and apply awards, including the SCHADS Award
  • Utilize MYOB for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable

Qualifications and Experience
  • Relevant qualification and experience in a similar position
  • Current 'Blue Card', or ability to obtain
  • Police Check, or ability to obtain
Knowledge and Skills
  • Proven ability to use Microsoft Office suite, including excellent Excel skills
  • Experience using MYOB
  • Experience interpreting Awards
  • Extensive Payroll Experience
