
Senior Claims Technical Specialist

The primary objective of this position is to provide expert technical support and strategic insights to facilitate the development of effective strategies that enable the organization to achieve its business goals.
This role involves providing high-level technical expertise and guidance to ensure consistency in approach to factors impacting claims costs and to assist in the development of technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert technical advice and support to senior management to inform strategic claims management decisions across all products.
- Offer technical expertise and mentoring to enhance the development of technical staff, ensuring they meet performance standards.
- Provide consistent and high-quality advice and sign-off support to technical staff to ensure a consistent approach to factors affecting claims cost.
- Conduct regular analysis of internal and external audit results, implementing and developing frameworks to improve performance.
- Analyze claims trends and provide recommendations to enhance performance.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience handling complex Workers Compensation claims, particularly supporting small business clients.
- In-depth knowledge of personal injury claims and relevant legislation.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential for collaboration and building positive relationships with stakeholders.
