The Opportunity

As a dedicated claims manager, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of workers compensation claims, liaising with injured workers, employers, and their treating health practitioners.

Our team effort approach ensures you have the support of experienced specialists, including technical specialists, injury management specialists, mobile case managers, and team leaders.

Your focus will be on providing high-quality service and supporting injured workers to recover from workplace injury and return to work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide timely, personal customer-focused and empathetic service to injured workers and employers.
  • Proactively manage all aspects of a caseload of worker's compensation claims within legislation and compliance guidelines.
  • Deliver the desired customer experience to all stakeholders and manage end-to-end outcomes for a portfolio of cases.
  • Provide accurate and complete information that is consistent and easy to understand, including options about any claim, entitlements, obligations, and responsibilities.
  • Conduct claims reviews, case conferences, or face-to-face meetings with clients as required.
About This Role
  • Previous experience within a medical, hospitality, retail, or corporate field, specialising in customer service is highly desirable.
  • Willingness to go above and beyond for customers.
  • The ability to multitask and shift priorities when needed.
  • Thriving in a team environment and collaborating with others.
  • Proactive, self-motivated, and able to think creatively when engaging with stakeholders such as workers, employers, and providers.
  • High attention to detail and organisational skills.
