Support Primary School Aged Children's Well-being and Learning

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as an Assistant Coordinator at St Pius OSHC in Chermside. This part-time role (27 hours per week) involves working Monday to Friday, assisting the Coordinator in the day-to-day operations of the service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Program planning and delivery to ensure high-quality care and education for children
  • Staff rostering and supervision to promote a safe and supportive work environment
  • Administration and financial management tasks to maintain accurate records and reports
  • Providing children with a welcoming and nurturing environment that promotes their well-being and learning
  • Promoting the service within the local community in accordance with our Vision, Mission and Values

Requirements:

  • Diploma in Children's Services (or ACECQA equivalent)
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
  • First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis qualifications
  • Experience in the education and care of children (OSHC)
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software
