Male Mental Health Support Worker Wanted
Let's cut to the chase: this isn't your average support work gig.
At Heart-led Support, we don't just support... we lead, we lift, we transform.
We're a purpose-driven crew of strong, grounded mentors changing lives every day.
If you're craving more than just a job then THIS IS YOUR SHOT.
WHO ARE WE?
We're SEQ's fastest-growing crew of elite support workers and we're here to raise the bar on what disability support should be.
No babysitting. No box-ticking.
We're mentors, leaders, and role models... walking the talk in mind, body, and heart.
We work with mental health, complex needs, tough behaviours, and big dreams, helping participants step into purpose, power, and independence.
ARE YOU THE RIGHT FIT?
We're looking for someone rare.
A calm, confident leader with experience, who cares for their health, clear in mind, and grounded in purpose.
You're calm in the chaos. You hold professional boundaries with heart.
You'll Thrive Here If:
- You've got 3+ year in high behaviours, complex mental health disorders, ASD lvl 2 or 3.
- You know how to navigate intense situations, trauma, complex behaviours, and psychosocial challenges
- You train your body, grow your mindset, and show up for more than a pay check
- BONUS if you've got experience in Mens Work, Martial Arts, Security, Sport or Coaching
If that sounds like you... we need to talk.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Providing support in the community and at home
- Managing behaviours with calm, clear strategies
- Mentoring participants and encouraging self-responsibility
- Supporting with personal care (where applicable)
- Working alongside mental health, trauma, addiction, and psychosocial diagnoses
- Writing clear, detailed shift notes and reports that reflect your impact
- Willing to do non-active sleepovers
What You'll Get in Return:
- Permanent Part-Time Employment
- Security, flexibility, and a meaningful pay-check that reflects your commitment
- Unmatched Team Culture
You'll be surrounded by like-minded legends who value culture & community, growth, and purpose
- No Micromanagement
You'll be trusted to do your job your way, with the support of a leadership team who's walked the path, have been involved in team building, and experiences that push you mentally, physically, and emotionally. You will be trained in de-escalation techniques, non-restrictive and restrictive practices. We're rewriting the script on what disability support looks like and you'll help lead the charge. This Isn't For Everyone…
- Self-Development & Adventure Days
- Crisis Prevention Training
- A Place in the Revolution
This role will stretch you. It will require your full presence, patience, and passion. But if you're ready to be part of something bigger... to grow as a human, a mentor, and a leader, then you'll thrive here.
