Project Management Role

The role of Senior Project Officer involves end-to-end project management and product development activities for online assessment and associated tools and resources.

About the Position

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with product owners, business stakeholders, subject matter experts, technical and support teams to manage the requirement definition, quality and progress of online products through the product backlog, ensuring timely delivery of improvements within agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and monitor project plans, including detailed resource scheduling, milestones and task dependencies.
  • Analyse and translate user requirements into online systems.
  • Implement policies and procedures that uphold the Department's commitment to Aboriginal Education and ensure quality outcomes for Aboriginal people.
Requirements
  • Hold a current and valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) for paid employment.
  • Demonstrated understanding of and commitment to the value of public education.
