The Recovery and Wellbeing Coach plays a crucial role in identifying potential barriers to return-to-work, developing recovery plans, and resolving related issues.

This position involves managing work- and non-work-related injuries, illnesses, and compensation claims. It also entails facilitating regular case review meetings with stakeholders to achieve positive outcomes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Early Intervention and Support Services: Provide timely support and services for employees returning to work, focusing on Western Victoria and Tasmania, particularly for psychological and complex cases.
  • Wellbeing and Safety Initiatives: Assist in implementing key wellbeing and safety initiatives within the organization.
  • Claim Management: Manage WorkCover claims according to legislative requirements and organizational policies.
  • Stakeholder Liaison: Liaise with stakeholders to provide Return-to-Work information and guidance, as well as support for employees.
  • Trend Analysis: Report on injury/illness trends emerging in workplaces.

Requirements

  • Degree in Relevant Field: A degree in a relevant field, such as Allied Health, Exercise Physiology, or Human Movement.
  • Experience in Similar Roles: Previous experience in similar roles, drawing from insurance and/or allied health backgrounds.
