We are seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Wellbeing Support Specialist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of our residents.
About the RoleThe Wellbeing Support Specialist will be responsible for delivering holistic wellbeing programs that promote engagement and social connection among our residents. This will involve providing individualized one-on-one support, conducting assessments and care plan reviews, and collaborating with clinical staff to ensure residents' overall wellbeing needs are met.
As a key member of our team, you will have the opportunity to create memorable experiences for our residents, whether it's organizing outings, social events, or unique activities such as scenic helicopter flights or visits to local attractions.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver holistic wellbeing programs that promote engagement and social connection among residents
- Provide individualized one-on-one support to residents
- Conduct assessments and care plan reviews to ensure residents' wellbeing needs are met
- Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure residents' overall wellbeing needs are met
- Create memorable experiences for residents through organized outings, social events, and unique activities
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification
- Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality Standards
- An NDIS check
- Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
