Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and proactive Housekeeping Supervisor to oversee our housekeeping teams and ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and service across our properties. This role is essential in maintaining our reputation for excellence in guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and inspire the Housekeeping and Public Area Cleaning teams to achieve daily cleaning objectives.
  • Ensure all guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces are maintained to the highest cleanliness standards.
  • Manage staff scheduling and performance evaluations to optimize team efficiency.
  • Participate in the recruitment, training, and mentoring of new team members.
  • Address guest feedback and complaints promptly, ensuring resolution in line with company policies.
  • Conduct daily inspections of arrival rooms to guarantee quality standards are met.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations regarding cleaning supplies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • 1-2 years of supervisory experience in hotel housekeeping.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Word and Excel.
  • Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Professional appearance and demeanor at all times.
  • Strong leadership skills with a focus on results and attention to detail.
  • Willingness to work across multiple properties as needed.
  • Availability for a full-time schedule, including weekends.
  • Valid working rights in Australia and willingness to undergo a National Police Check.
