About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Bar Team Leader to join the team at Southport Sharks, to lead by example and uphold our service excellence.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise daily bar operations, including opening and closing procedures
  • Train and mentor new and existing team members
  • Monitor stock levels and stock rotation
  • Maintain bar cleaning and WHS procedures
  • Monitor staff working hours with trade levels and liaise with the Duty Managers
  • Supervise staff and monitor performance and skill level
  • Deliver a high standard of service to members and guests
  • Provide bar service and table clearing services to guests
  • Handle all cash transactions associated with food, beverage, and any other services to guests in an efficient manner, ensuring the security of cash and the privacy of member details at all times
About You

We are looking for someone with:

  • A current QLD RSA Certificate
  • Previous leadership/supervisor experience in a bar
  • A strong understanding and knowledge of bar products
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work as a team
  • Trustworthiness and reliability
  • Reliability and flexibility to work a variety of night and weekend shifts, which may include public holidays
