About the Role

The HSEQ Audit and Reporting specialist plays a pivotal role in the corporate HSEQ team, supporting Australian and NZ operations, teams, and departments. As an integral part of this team, you will be responsible for implementing and maintaining programs to ensure compliance with all HSE legislative, regulatory, and organisational requirements.

This includes coordinating national assurance and verification programs, managing and overseeing the continuous improvement of HSE management support systems and applications. You will also be instrumental in developing a systematic approach to routine reporting on HSE Online management systems, including KPIs and compliance outcomes.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective HSE management systems that meet business needs, ensuring adherence to ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 standards.
  • Support all business units in maintaining certification with these international standards, guaranteeing their continued relevance and applicability.
  • Collaborate closely with the National HSSE Team to achieve strategic objectives, aligning activities with overarching goals and fostering a culture of excellence within the organisation.
  • Conduct thorough audits and verifications to ensure HSE management and support systems are effective and meet operational demands.
  • Provide administrative support for HSE management systems, serving as the primary contact between service providers and stakeholders for system support and issues.
  • Maintain strict compliance with business standards and legislative obligations through a structured audit and verification process, ensuring seamless integration of HSE initiatives across the organisation.
  • Coordinate regular reviews and improvements of online induction and training programs to ensure they align with compliance and operational requirements.
