Financial Operations Leader

The Legislative Assembly of British Columbia is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented professional for the role of Financial Operations Supervisor.
This position will provide day-to-day support and direction to the financial operations team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the financial operations team
- Ensure compliance with financial policies and procedures
- Collaborate with other teams to achieve financial goals
- Develop and maintain financial reports and analyses
- Post-secondary education in accounting, finance, business administration, or a related field
- At least three years of progressive accounting and financial administration experience
- Experience in a supervisory/team lead role
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Experience working in a parliamentary or public sector environment
- CPA designation or current enrollment
- Experience using an ERP system such as Workday
