About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Regional Sales Manager to oversee Australia and New Zealand carrier accounts for our wireless broadband business.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with carrier partners OEMs and module partners driving sales growth and ensuring customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and grow relationships with carrier accounts in Australia and New Zealand ensuring alignment with business objectives and customer needs.
  • Work with internal product marketing team key OEMs and module vendors to propose right product to meet customer requirements.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and market share growth in the wireless broadband sector.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for carrier partners OEMs and Module vendors addressing their needs resolving issues and providing exceptional customer service.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams including product development marketing and customer support to deliver comprehensive solutions to carrier partners.
  • Provide feedback to product development teams based on customer insights and market demands.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports forecasts and performance metrics to senior management.

Technical Knowledge Required

  • Understanding of 3GPP standards and their application in wireless broadband technologies.
  • Experience with Wi-Fi standards and deployment in carrier networks.
  • Knowledge of internet topology and its impact on broadband services.
  • Technical expertise in wireless broadband technologies including LTE 5G and other wireless communication standards.
  • Technical expertise in broadband technologies including fiber optics DSL and cable.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 7 to 10 years of sales or business development experience in the telecommunications or semiconductor industry with a focus on carrier accounts.
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field. MBA is a plus.
  • Strong negotiation communication and interpersonal skills.
  • In-depth understanding of wireless broadband technologies and the telecommunications market.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with carrier partners and attend industry events.

Estimated Salary: AU$120,000 - AU$180,000 per year
