About the Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Systems Administrator to join our Corporate IT team at Aussie Broadband. As a Systems Administrator, you will play a crucial role in providing technical support and guidance to our team, driving best practices in IT systems implementation and maintenance, and ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of our corporate infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical monitoring and management of corporate infrastructure to ensure they meet defined performance, reliability, functionality, and security requirements.

• Engage with other ABB technical and operational teams to ensure a world-class customer experience.

• Investigate and resolve anomalies and incidents escalated by technical support teams, monitoring systems, or identified during daily, weekly, and monthly management.

• Escalate incidents to relevant team leaders, managers, carriers, or third-party vendors in a timely manner.

• Coordinate, follow up, and manage escalated incidents affecting ABB services, including the escalation of vendor faults once they have breached their outlined SLAs.

• Oversee or lead the analysis, design, documentation, planning, deployment, and testing of complex adds, moves, or changes for the business.

• Assist with defining, prioritizing, coordinating, and executing ABB Corporate IT projects and ensure they are completed in a timely manner.

• Identify and implement automation of regular tasks to improve efficiency of the team and increase the reliability, performance, and functionality of customer solutions.

Requirements

We are looking for a self-motivated, customer-focused Systems Administrator with at least 5 years of experience in a similar role. You should have a degree or diploma in a relevant field, including Microsoft certification, and a broad knowledge of Microsoft technologies and system administration. You should also have a passion for continuous learning and self-improvement, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Application Servers, Remote Desktop Services, virtualization technologies, and cloud services.
