The Opportunity

We are seeking an Associate Director who can demonstrate expertise in strategic and statutory urban planning. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to drive the growth of Urbis as NSW's pre-eminent planning consultancy and lead exciting city and community shaping projects.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert advice on land use, strategic and infrastructure planning, development capability, due diligence assessments, master plans, and the approval process.
  • Contribute to the development of strategies and plans that shape the future of NSW.
  • Lead city and community shaping thought leadership pieces that showcase Urbis' expertise.
  • Apply advanced statutory and strategic urban planning principles and methods through comprehensive data analytics.
  • Achieve revenue targets through strong service delivery and project management.
  • Support Directors to achieve business plan outcomes.
  • Lead strategic projects for tier 1 private and government clients.

About You

  • Tertiary qualifications in Town Planning or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience, ideally gained in a consultancy environment.
  • Experience using data analytics to support great strategic place outcomes.
  • Proven ability to manage and develop team members.
  • Proven track record of building new clients and business.
  • Project Management skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects.
