About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Town Planning Consultant to join our team at Gough Recruitment AU. As a key member of our planning consultancy, you will play a crucial role in managing and delivering a range of urban and regional development projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Management: Manage development applications and planning proposals from inception to approval, ensuring timely and successful project delivery.
  • Strategic Planning: Provide expert planning advice to both public and private sector clients, helping them navigate complex planning regulations and development processes.
  • Planning Assessments: Conduct detailed planning assessments and prepare reports, identifying opportunities for sustainable urban development and community growth.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with local councils, government authorities, and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Urban Design: Undertake site analysis and urban design assessments, providing innovative solutions for urban development projects.
  • Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with internal teams on project delivery, ensuring seamless communication and coordination.
About You
  • Qualifications: Degree qualified in Urban and Regional Planning or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in town planning or a similar role, with a strong understanding of New South Wales planning legislation and development processes.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and report-writing skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Software Proficiency: Proficiency with planning software and tools, with a passion for sustainable urban development and creating vibrant communities.
