Job Opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to provide face-to-face assessment services with individuals living with dementia and their families.
The Role
You will be responsible for providing comprehensive assessments in line with best practice care, identifying factors contributing to concerning cognitive behavioural changes, and developing strategies to support individuals and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing face-to-face assessment services with individuals living with dementia and their families;
- Developing and implementing comprehensive assessment plans in line with best practice care;
- Identifying factors contributing to concerning cognitive behavioural changes and developing strategies to support individuals and their families.
Requirements
To be considered for this role, you will need to have:
- Prior assessment experience in a senior nursing, occupational therapy, speech pathology, or physiotherapy role within aged care;
- Strong knowledge and experience working with individuals living with dementia;
- Additional dementia behavioural management training or currently studying/completed post-graduate qualifications in dementia care/gerontology/ageing.
