The role of a Member Support Consultant is key in building and maintaining a thriving membership base.

This highly varied position has two main objectives: driving membership growth through proactive sales activities and retaining existing members through exceptional customer service.

Member Support Consultants are experts in all things Goodlife and can seamlessly swap between sales and lead generation; providing top-notch service and achieving successful customer outcomes on the reception desk and proactively communicating with current members to enhance their club experience and drive positive member retention.

Responsibilities:

  • Contributing to sales revenue by utilising sales promotions and referral campaigns
  • Generating and converting high-quality sales leads through community outreach, referrals and identifying new business opportunities
  • Achieving a set number of lead contacts via telephone to maximise sales opportunities
  • Providing sales presentations and tours to prospective members
  • Creating positive member journeys via personalised interactions
  • Achieving successful outcomes to enquiries
  • Opening and closing the club as per the roster
  • Active involvement in member retention programs, inspiring members to continue their fitness journey
  • Regular service calls to new and existing members to keep them engaged in their journey - recommending products that would boost their results and amplify their experience

Requirements:

  • Holding current First Aid & CPR certificates
  • Ability to build rapport with people from diverse backgrounds with a desire to help others succeed
  • The ability to solve problems and overcome obstacles
  • Excellent communication skills - able to listen, understand, empathise and influence others
  • Tenacity with a natural drive to achieve individual targets and team goals
  • Customer focused with a desire to deliver exceptional customer outcomes
