About us

Hyatt Regency Sydney is a large upscale hotel with 878 rooms, featuring a Fitness Centre, all-day dining restaurant and meeting facilities.

We are seeking a Front Office Assistant Manager to lead our team of service ambassadors who are the face of Hyatt Regency Sydney.

You will assist in managing the smooth running of the hotel's largest room inventory in Australia.

  • Run and manage day-to-day Front Office operations.
  • Manage a team of Guest Service Officers and Team Leaders.
  • Respond to and coordinate emergency situations.
  • Handle Guest complaints effectively and efficiently.
Our Expectations Include:
  • A warm and caring attitude towards Guests and Colleagues.
  • Previous experience as a Duty Manager/Assistant Manager in a large international hotel.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to think on your feet.
  • Ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure.
  • Availability to work on a rotating roster.
  • Full Australian work rights.
  • Experience with Opera PMS.
  • Current first-aid qualification and NSW RSA.
