About the Role

This role leads and manages governance, overseeing audit and assurance, statutory obligations and reporting, procurement, fleet and facilities, property portfolio, as well as systems and process for successful delivery of future vision and strategic direction.

The ideal candidate will be an integral partner in ensuring risk management, providing expert legal contract and commercial advice, and assessing complex matters to develop strategies for effective and efficient outcomes.

This is a senior position that requires a highly regarded leader with solid corporate governance execution and experience. The selected person will understand the value of constructive partnerships, effectively leading internal relationships and key external stakeholders.

About You

We are looking for someone with in-depth knowledge and experience in risk management frameworks and governance. This individual should bring fresh ideas and business process improvements to our organisation.

With experience working in the public sector, this person will be able to navigate the complexities of risk management frameworks and controls, understanding contemporary and good practice in action.

This role requires strong commercial capability, contract management, and financial skills, demonstrating political acumen and governance. The candidate should have an understanding of how to align business and community needs with environmental, sustainability, and financial goals.

As a skilled communicator with exceptional stakeholder management strengths, this person will build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation to drive outcomes and improvements.
