Job Title: Grounds PersonAbout the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced grounds person to join our esteemed sports turf team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a qualified greenkeeper to contribute to the maintenance and presentation of our prestigious stadium.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintenance and preparation of playing surfaces for various sporting events
  • Maintenance and preparation of training facilities
  • Maintenance and preparation of practice wicket facility
  • Upkeep of the stadium grounds to ensure they are in optimal condition for various events
  • Participation in the preparation and maintenance of surfaces for special events, including concerts and festivals
  • Ensuring all work complies with safety standards and regulations
About You:
  • Certificate III in Sports Turf Management / Horticulture or a relevant discipline
  • Hold a current C Class Drivers Licence
  • Hold appropriate licence to spray chemicals
  • Previous experience applying chemical sprays and identifying areas of concern
  • Previous exposure and/or experience in field maintenance
  • A sound understanding and knowledge of workplace health and safety regulations
  • Ability to take initiative and deal with a variety of challenges that may arise
  • Proven history of being punctual & reliable
  • Have excellent communication & interpersonal skills
  • Be legally entitled to live & work in Australia
