At the end of the program, you'll be equipped with all the knowledge and hand on skills you will need to build your career and move into roles such as a Team Leader or Site Manager - ready to lead with confidence.

What You'll Learn

Prepare and apply chemicals for pest, weed, and disease control, ensuring proper transportation and storageInstall and maintain drainage and pressurised irrigation systems, including operation and upkeepOperate various machinery and equipment required for maintenance tasksImprove soil quality for gardens and turf, promoting healthy plant nutrition and optimal growthControl weeds, pests, diseases, and disorders affecting plants and turf areasRenovate and construct sports turf facilitiesSafety protocols and equipment operation

About You

You may not have any prior experience in the sports turf management field, but you are a proven hard worker and are motivated and keen to learn new skills. Your can-do attitude will underpin your success in this role.

You are mature and are able to deal with people from all walks of life.

You already have, or are prepared to obtain, a White Card. Although not an absolute requirement, if you have a current drivers' licencethis will be looked upon favourably.
