Job Description:

As a key team member in our operations department, you will play a crucial role in supporting project managers to deliver operational excellence across bulk haulage and site services projects.

You will assist in supervising project staff and ensuring the safe, efficient, and effective delivery of project outcomes. Some of your key areas of responsibility will include:

  • Work Health and Safety
  • Site Supervision
  • Equipment Management

To be successful in this role, you will need at least 4 years' project supervisory experience within mining haulage and earthmoving operations. Ideally, you will have similar prior supervisory experience in mining services contractor space. You will also need to hold a Section 26 qualification and completion of BSBWHS411 - Implement and Monitor WHS Policies, Procedures, and Programs and BSBWHS414 - Contribute to WHS Risk Management. Additionally, you will need to possess the ability to apply and administer the implementation of Fatigue Management Strategies.

Our ideal candidate will be a proactive leader who champions change and inspires others to achieve positive outcomes. They will have excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with all levels of the workforce and external stakeholders. A collaborative and consultative team approach is essential for this role.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Project supervisory experience within mining haulage and earthmoving operations

• Similar prior supervisory experience in mining services contractor space

• Section 26 qualification

• Completion of BSBWHS411 and BSBWHS414
