Job Description

The Process Operations Supervisor oversees daily operational activities, including supervision of operational staff and contractors. The role focuses on achieving production targets while adhering to safety, environmental, operational, and engineering standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide a safe work environment by implementing health, safety, environmental, and compliance plans, management systems, and processes within the mine.
  • Actively participate in establishing a health and safety culture and ensure all incidents are reported.
  • Develop operating standards, methods, and procedures related to production and operational tasks.
  • Plan, schedule, and implement strategies to achieve departmental long-term targets and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Coordinate site leadership activities to ensure continuous ore supply and meet production targets.
  • Contribute to strategic and annual plans, monitor performance, and provide business analysis for the operation.
  • Maintain personnel competencies and authorisations in line with Training Needs Analysis and develop training plans.
  • Manage skill distribution within crews to ensure supervision, training, and permits are provided.
  • Lead people management including recruitment, performance management, and development.
  • Foster a team culture of continuous improvement aligned with organisational values.
Role Requirements

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or trade qualification desired but not essential.
  • Certificate IV in Frontline Leadership desired but not essential.
  • Valid driver's license and First Aid certificate required.
  • WA Radiation Safety qualifications desirable but not essential.
  • 5+ years in fixed plant processing, including at least 2 years supervisory/leadership experience required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary.
