The Return to Work Coordinator and Claims Administrator is responsible for providing expert guidance and operational leadership in managing workplace injuries, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
This role delivers responsive, person-centred support throughout the recovery journey, facilitating safe and sustainable return to work outcomes for injured employees.
Key Responsibilities- Coordinate the end-to-end return to work process for injured employees.
- Administer the full lifecycle of workers' compensation claims, including lodging claims, registering certificates, and coordinating with internal stakeholders, medical professionals, and independent examiners.
- Conduct regular audits of claims and injury management processes to ensure adherence to legal obligations, internal procedures, and continuous improvement principles.
- Provide high quality administrative and operational support that enables effective functioning of teams, services and day-to-day operations.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Occupational Health and Safety, Allied Health, Nursing, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience in return-to-work coordination and claims administration.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a track record of preparing accurate documentation, managing sensitive information, and achieving timely outcomes.
