Job Overview

The Fleet Management Specialist will serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, proactively managing and reviewing customer portfolios to maximize renewals and organic growth.

This role focuses on delivering exceptional customer service while supporting Relationship Managers in understanding customer needs and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage customer relationships to ensure contractual obligations and KPIs are met with performance measurements available upon request.
  • Capture business potential from clients, maximize renewals, and improve margins by supporting Relationship Managers to upsell other products and services.
  • Review client fleets through effective reporting, address exceptions, and seek opportunities to reduce costs through optimized fleet management.
  • Prepare quotations within required turnaround times and record outcomes via a won/lost business template.
  • Proactively manage future vehicle terminations and restructures in line with best practice fleet management principles.
  • Build rapport with clients, understand their needs, and seek opportunities for revenue growth, including fee uplift.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent tertiary qualification in a business-related field.
  • Previous experience in a customer service role.
  • Business acumen and commercial awareness.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills, ability to meet deadlines and report progress.
  • Effective verbal and written communication, good listening and probing skills.
  • Analytical thinking, ability to resolve problems in a timely and effective manner.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • High attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of fleet management products, services, systems, and processes is desirable.
