Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Claims Consultant to join our team at Auto & General. As a key member of our claims team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of complex, high-value, and sensitive claims.

Key Responsibilities
  • Claims Management: End-to-end management of a portfolio of complex claims, including liability, negligence, and road rules.
  • Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including solicitors, credit hire companies, and third parties.
  • Decision Making: Ability to make decisions and liaise with solicitors and stakeholders.
  • Customer Service: Exceptional customer service skills, written and verbal.
  • Complexity Management: Demonstrated ability to operate in a complex environment, prioritise tasks, and organise workload effectively.
  • Relationship Building: Ability to develop strong relationships at all levels with both internal and external stakeholders, coupled with a high level of emotional intelligence.
  • Results Driven: Broad ability to drive for results, focus on outcomes, and well-developed negotiation skills.
Requirements
  • Experience: Motor claim or liability experience highly desirable.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Clear understanding of liability, negligence, and road rules.
  • Autonomy and Collaboration: Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
