Job Description:

This is a permanent part-time role, working 3 days a week (Monday to Wednesday), covering the Southern Region (Illawarra, Shoalhaven, and Southern Highlands) with a primary base in Wollongong.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing high-quality customer service to clients and members of the public
  • Supporting new clients with initial assistance and intake, identifying their needs, and prioritising further assistance
  • Receiving and directing clients and visitors, providing food parcels and referrals according to guidelines
  • Maintaining accurate and confidential client data records
  • Contributing to team meetings and events, providing administrative support as needed
  • Ensuring general administrative tasks are completed efficiently
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Qualifications and/or experience in social work or customer service, preferably with vulnerable clients under financial stress
  • Strong conflict resolution skills and ability to manage challenging conversations
  • Proven ability to work well under pressure and maintain composure in stressful situations
  • Excellent communication and time management skills to handle multiple demands
  • A driven, hardworking, flexible, and proactive attitude
Estimated Salary:

Ranging between $60,000 to $80,000 per annum, based on location and industry standards.
