What You'll Be Doing:

  • Providing strategic legal advice to our business units on a wide range of legal matters, including litigation management, legal risk management, employment law, and regulatory compliance.

  • Developing and implementing legal strategies to mitigate risk and ensure compliance.

What We're Looking For:

  • A minimum of 6-8 years of post-qualification work experience in a common law jurisdiction.
  • Prior experience in regulatory compliance, HR, litigation, or legal risk management.
  • Strong technical knowledge of legal framework surrounding finance transactions generally, and strong document drafting skills.
  • Good knowledge of regulatory requirements relating to finance and banking.
  • Self-motivated and independent, with the ability to clearly challenge process and decisions, as well as to set new standards to ensure best practices are always followed.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to manage large workloads and tight deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • A calm approach, with the ability to perform well in a pressurised environment.
