The ideal candidate will have strong communication and analytical skills, coupled with a passion for creating positively memorable experiences for a diverse range of clientele. Proven demonstrated ability to successfully market outlets, within a hotel environment, is highly regarded.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Building and nurturing positive, professional relationships with both guests and colleagues alike
  • Developing and implementing strategies to increase sales and profitability, such as upselling techniques or promotional events
  • Ensuring venues are prepared for service according to defined standards
  • Collaborating closely with chefs to create and update menus, ensuring variety, quality, and profitability
  • Hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising team members, including food and beverage attendants, hosts, bartenders, supervisors

Qualifications include a university degree or diploma in hospitality or tourism management, along with demonstrated recent experience as a Director of F&B or Assistant Director of F&B in a large property, preferably five-star. Good operational, administrative, and interpersonal skills are essential, as well as wine/beverage knowledge in an upscale environment. Strong organizational skills, the ability to work with a flexible schedule, be a team player, and dynamic leader are also required.
