About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate employment support professional to join our team. In this role, you will provide one-on-one support to individuals in achieving their employment-related goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support participants in various employment-related activities such as on-the-job training, work skills development, and resume writing.
  • Assist participants in exploring job opportunities and preparing for work life.
  • Provide travel training and support participants in navigating public transport.
  • Help participants with cover letter writing and practicing for mock interviews.
  • Collaborate with the employment coordinator to develop personalized support plans for each participant.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Previous relevant experience in supporting individuals with disabilities or in an employment services environment.
  • A valid Australian driver's license.
  • A working with children check.
  • An NDIS worker screening check.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A passion for making a positive impact on the lives of people with disabilities.
