Refinery Operations Leadership

Ongoing Learning and Career Development is a key focus area within our process operations unit. As a leader, you will have the opportunity to make a real impact on one of our core operations.

This hands-on leadership role requires strong operational expertise and a deep understanding of refinery processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

As a leader in our Refinery Operations team, you will play a pivotal role in driving performance through implementing safety, health, risk, environment, quality, and community systems.

  • Providing visible leadership to implement safety, health, risk, environment, quality, and community systems
  • Collaborating with Maintenance, Supply, Process Engineering, and other refinery teams to improve operational efficiency and support projects
  • Leading a team to develop and deliver asset strategies, oversee capital programs, and maintain effective systems to achieve daily targets
  • Reviewing and approving plant and equipment modifications, managing risks through hazard analyses and prevention systems, and leading audit actions

You will bring a strong operational background and deep understanding of refinery processes, with a focus on continuous improvement. Known for your critical thinking and structured approach, you drive lasting improvements by tackling root causes.

You are organised and adaptable, managing competing priorities while keeping safety, reliability, and performance front of mind. Your collaborative style and leadership make you a key contributor to cross-functional teams and initiatives.

To succeed in this role, you will bring proven capability in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, or other major hazard facility environments, with deep knowledge of refinery operations and a strong focus on performance improvement.

The total remuneration includes base salary, performance incentive, employee share offers, and 25% discount on fuel for two privately used cars.
