The Fleet Management Specialist will play a pivotal role in ensuring the safe, efficient and reliable operation of a vehicle fleet. This includes overseeing all aspects of fleet management, from acquisition and utilisation through to maintenance, replacement planning and compliance.
This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned fleet professional who thrives in a complex environment, enjoys building strong stakeholder relationships, and is motivated by contributing to the safe and seamless delivery of essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and administer fleet policy in support of operational continuity, sustainability and optimising total operating cost outcomes.
- Work with logistics teams, regional directors, finance, drivers and customers to achieve optimal fleet performance.
- Ensure ongoing alignment of fleet policy to related industry best practice.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or a combination of qualifications and substantial experience in fleet management and operations.
- Strong experience in fleet operations and management, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, disposal, and overall portfolio oversight.
- Proficient in corporate financial and administrative systems, with hands-on experience using fleet management and telematics platforms to support operational efficiency and data-driven decision-making.
