Salary

The successful candidate will be offered a salary of $120,000 per annum, plus superannuation and other benefits.

Job Description

As a Nursing Team Lead in our Emergency Department, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient care, ensuring the safety and well-being of patients and staff, and supervising a team of nurses to achieve excellent patient outcomes. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering evidence-based nursing care to patients in the emergency department
  • Liaising with the multi-disciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Ensuring patient and staff safety by implementing policies and procedures
  • Supervising and guiding nursing team members to deliver patient care
  • Delivering education and support to individuals/patients for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation or end of life needs

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to have:

  • Current Registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • A Postgraduate Certificate in Emergency/Critical Care Nursing (or working towards)
  • A Working with Children check
  • A commitment to quality patient care
  • Compliance with ACQSHC National standards
  • Sound clinical decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work well independently and within a team
  • Basic computer skills
