Job Opportunity Overview

KinCare is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Worker to join our team in Taree. As a Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently at home for longer.

Key Responsibilities

  • Domestic Assistance: Cleaning the home of older people to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment
  • Assisting with meal preparation and shopping to promote healthy eating habits
  • Providing social support and access to lifestyle activities to enhance the overall well-being of our customers
  • Offering respite and emotional support to customers and their families
  • Transporting customers to appointments and providing social support
  • Providing complex care for customers with high care needs, such as dementia

Requirements

  • You must care about assisting our aged community and have a current P1 class or above Australian Drivers License and a registered vehicle
  • You should be able to work independently and find solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your Manager for help
  • You must be available to work at least 3 days - Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work

What to Expect

When you apply, we will send you a link to a short online assessment from Vervoe to give you an insight into a day in the life of our Care Worker. Before joining our team, we require a National Police Check, functional assessment, and evidence of covid vaccination.
