Job Summary:

New Horizons Enterprises Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team in Taree. As a Support Worker, you will be the first point of contact for NDIS participants, families, and Support Coordinators, providing high-quality support services to the community.

About the Role:

This casual Support Worker role is based in Taree and involves working Monday to Sunday, providing support to residents with complex care needs. Your daily tasks will include meeting the care needs of residents, accompanying them to appointments and activities, and adhering to specialist plans and medication administration.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet the daily care needs of residents within the community
  • Provide support to residents presenting with complex care needs
  • Accompany residents to appointments, social, and recreational activities
  • Adhere to specialist plans and medication administration

Requirements:

  • Use of own vehicle
  • Appropriate certificate level qualification in Community Services, Mental Health, or Disability, or equivalent relevant experience
  • Valid NSW Drivers C class licence
  • Ability to lift 10 kilograms unassisted
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office
