Home Care Worker Opportunity in Taree

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Home Care Worker to join our team in Taree. As a Home Care Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our customers, enabling them to live independently in their own homes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic assistance, including cleaning and laundry, to ensure a safe and comfortable living environment for our customers.
  • Assist with meal preparation and shopping, promoting healthy eating habits and independence.
  • Offer social support and access to lifestyle activities, helping our customers to stay engaged and connected with their community.
  • Provide respite and emotional support, recognizing the importance of mental health and wellbeing.
  • Transport customers to appointments, ensuring they receive the care and support they need.
  • Deliver complex care for customers with high care needs, including dementia support.

Requirements:
  • A current P1 class or above Australian Driver's License and a registered vehicle, with a valid driver's license.
  • A compassionate and empathetic approach, with a focus on assisting our aged community to live independently at home for longer.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days, Monday to Friday, with no night or weekend work.
