Adult Survivors Program Manager
Description:This is a leadership role in the Adult Survivors Program. The program is a significant reform initiative implemented by NSW Health in response to the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sexual Abuse.
The program aims to improve outcomes for adult survivors of child sexual abuse, focusing on those with complex needs and mental health or alcohol and other drug support requirements.
The successful candidate will be responsible for overarching program leadership, strategic management, implementation, governance, business planning, risk and budget management, stakeholder engagement, and coordination.
This role will work closely with the Clinical Coordinator to ensure effective and sustainable local implementation of the innovative new program model.
The approach will be strengths-based, family-centred, culturally appropriate, and trauma-informed.
This position involves recruiting, coaching, mentoring, and performance developing staff as well as managing delegated financial responsibilities.
The Program Manager will provide advanced leadership and high-quality project management to meet the objectives of this integrated program.
This is not a direct service delivery role.
Requirements include appropriate tertiary qualifications and experience in a health-related field or demonstrated equivalent relevant professional experience.
Strong leadership skills and the ability to work autonomously in culturally safe and inclusive ways are essential.
A current NSW driver's license and willingness to travel across NSW are also required.
