Job Title: Trauma Management Specialist
Description:
We are seeking a skilled Trauma Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our national trauma response team, you will provide critical incident and crisis counselling support to our client organisations.
About the Role:
This is an exciting opportunity to work with some of Australia's largest organisations in various industries, including government agencies and corporate organisations. You will be responsible for providing rapid response services, including critical incidents, planned support services, rapid connect, disaster response, and incident support forums.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide psychosocial interventions, support, and counselling to individuals and groups.
- Assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs, and provide solution-focused advice to achieve agreed outcomes.
- Deliver People Assist services, including Employee Assistance Programs (EAP) and Rapid Response Services (RRS).
- Work collaboratively with stakeholders to provide effective trauma management solutions.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience in providing psychosocial interventions, support, and counselling.
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in trauma management or relevant consultancy services.
- Demonstrated ability to assess workplace issues, identify suitable intervention programs, and provide solution-focused advice.
- Excellent time management skills, report writing skills, and a willingness to demonstrate a 'can do' attitude.
- Registration with the appropriate professional body.
