Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated Aviation Security Officer to join our team at Newcastle Airport. As an Aviation Protection Officer, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality security services while creating safe and memorable travel experiences for travellers and visitors.

The Key Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrate ability to engage with customers and provide a high-quality experience.
  • Undertake screening activities in a fast-paced airport environment.
  • Apply skills, knowledge, and physical ability to perform Security and Safety emergency procedures.
  • E nsure compliance with security and safety procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Display professional standards of behaviour and personal presentation.
  • Work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Utilize excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Complete incident reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Able to complete company-paid Aviation Transport Security Protection Qualification (TSP).
  • Successful completion of Drug and Alcohol screening and Medical assessments.
  • Able to obtain an ASIC (Criminal history clearance).
  • Availability to work on a 24/7 rotating roster.
