Airport Security Specialist

About this role:
We are seeking a diligent Airport Security Specialist to ensure the safety and security of passengers at Ballina Byron Gateway Airport. As a front-line team member, you will play a vital role in maintaining compliance with aviation security regulations.
Main Responsibilities- Conduct thorough screening of passengers, staff, and baggage to guarantee regulatory adherence.
- Deliver exceptional customer service by responding to inquiries and assisting passengers with a professional demeanor.
- Monitor security checkpoints, oversee traffic flow, and ensure proper procedures are followed at all times.
- Perform frisk and bag searches, generate incident reports, patrol the premises, and control access to sensitive areas.
- NSW Security License
- Airport Security Identification Card (ASIC) clearance or ability to obtain
- Certificate II in Transport Security Protection (TSP)
- Certificate II in Security Operations
- Valid First Aid and CPR certifications
- Current Driver licence
- Ability to multitask efficiently and maintain strong customer service skills
