Job Overview
Pillow Talk is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Team Leader to join our team at our Mentone store. As a Team Leader, you will play a vital role in supporting the store leadership team by leading from the front and inspiring your peers to achieve their best work.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the smooth and efficient operation of the store, including handling customer queries and concerns, driving the team to reach budget and KPIs, and maintaining the store's visual appeal.
- Assist the Store Manager and Assistant Store Manager in the overall running of the store, providing guidance and support to team members as needed.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve customer satisfaction and loyalty, capitalizing on every opportunity to bring the meaning of comfort and style to life.
- Collaborate with the team to achieve sales and KPI targets, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as needed.
- Provide coaching and feedback to team members, helping them to develop their skills and achieve their full potential.
Requirements
- Experience working in a customer-centric retail environment with a proven track record of success in a team leadership or supervisory role.
- Passion for providing great customer service and championing best practice in stock, service, safety, operational procedures, and visual merchandising.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Highly personable and confident individual with a strong ability to develop interpersonal relationships with customers and colleagues.
- Consultative selling experience with a proven ability to find the right products for customers and instil confidence.
- Ability to multitask and cope with changing priorities, with a keen eye for detail and a willingness to learn and adapt.
