About This Opportunity

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a self-motivated Site HSEQ Advisor to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Infrastructure Services business, you will report directly to the HSEQ Lead and be responsible for providing expert advice and support to Managers and site staff.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of health and safety principles and practices, with experience in conducting risk assessments, investigations, and root cause analysis. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct workplace risk assessments and site inductions to mitigate potential hazards
  • Draft safety management plans to protect personnel and assets
  • Investigate incidents and conduct root cause analysis (ICAM) to identify areas for improvement
  • Manage subcontractor relationships, people, and mobile plant inductions to maintain a positive and safe working culture
Requirements
  • Minimum of Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety
  • Demonstrated experience in safety roles across civil construction projects
  • Knowledge of ICAM or TapRoot methodologies
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and WHS safety software systems
  • Excellent communication, written, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven experience with behaviour-based safety programs
