Electrical Technician Job Overview

The Electrical Technician role will be part of our office in Bunbury, reporting to a manager.

This technician will service fire alarm systems on site by surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment according to established procedures and processes.

  • Identify, test, service, and repair fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with procedures and processes.
  • Complete and provide evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner using handheld technology.
Requirements
  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industry is necessary.
  • A current Electrical license is required.
  • Unrestricted work rights are needed.
  • A sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment is essential.
  • Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal but not mandatory.
