Fire Protection Specialist Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Protection Specialist to join our team based in Bunbury.

This role involves servicing fire alarm systems on site, testing and/or programming fire panels, cabling, alarm systems and associated equipment at clients' sites.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Surveying customer premises and recommending fire protection and safety systems and equipment, in accordance with company procedures and processes.
  • Identifying, testing, servicing, and repairing fire protection and safety systems and equipment in accordance with company procedures and processes.
  • Completing and providing evidence of maintenance performed on equipment in an accurate and legible manner, using systems including handheld technology.

To succeed in this position, you will need:

  • Experience working as an Electrical Technician in the Fire Protection industry.
  • A current Electrical license.
  • Unrestricted work rights.
  • A current Driver's license.
  • A current Cabling license.
  • Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to undergo a pre-employment medical and police check.
  • A sound knowledge of applicable Australian Standards relevant to Fixed Systems fire protection equipment.
  • A Fire Protection Accreditation Scheme accreditation is ideal, but not mandatory.
  • EAHL is ideal, but not mandatory.
