Job Description

Job Title: Optimisation Lead - Motor Claims

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Optimisation Lead to join our team at Auto & General. As an Optimisation Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving operational excellence and delivering exceptional service and strong cost outcomes through continuous improvement and optimisation of motor claims processes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process Analysis: Conduct thorough analysis of existing claims processes to identify bottlenecks, gaps, handoffs, and areas for improvement to improve overall claim outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Work with key stakeholder groups across the business to identify automation opportunities, implement digital solutions, and leverage technology to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve claim outcomes.
  • Performance Metrics: Develop performance metrics and implement tracking systems to monitor the effectiveness of process optimisation initiatives.
  • Relationship Building: Foster effective relationships with key stakeholders to support engagement and effective optimisation outcomes.
  • Training and Support: Provide process training and support to team members, including leading change management efforts, identifying training needs, and ensuring that employees are adequately prepared to adopt the new ways of working.
  • Data Analysis: Utilise data analysis tools and techniques to develop process insights and provide accurate and insightful reports that support successful embedment of optimisation initiatives.
  • Culture Development: Motivate and influence team members to identify process and system opportunities by fostering a culture of continuous learning, collaboration, and excellence.

Requirements:

  • Experience: 3-5 years Motor Claims and/or 3-5 years Process Optimisation experience preferably within a personal insurance context.
  • Legislative Knowledge: Well-developed and demonstrated understanding of the legislative, regulatory, and compliance obligations to operate in Motor Claims.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Leadership Skills: Demonstrated ability to effectively engage, influence, and develop others and liaise effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Conceptual Skills: High-level conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills and the ability to develop innovative solutions and high-level project management experience.
