Role Overview

This is a key position that focuses on developing and executing sales strategies to maximize customer value and profitability.

  • Coordinate with clients to establish and maintain valuable relationships.
  • Drive the growth of Private Label products in Australia and New Zealand by recruiting new customers and enhancing existing relationships through cross-selling efforts.
  • Engage with potential customers and category teams of existing customers to understand their needs and preferences.
  • Develop short- and long-term plans to foster lasting relationships that address customers' challenges and requirements.
  • Meet revenue targets and maximize profits for the Private Label business in ANZ.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of seven years' experience in FMCG sales or key account management, specifically in the food or beverage sectors for national brands or private label businesses. A deep understanding of the food industry at a macro level is essential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Strategic Sales Planning: Develop and execute sales strategies to drive business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Foster strong relationships with clients, including regular communication, needs assessment, and solution implementation.
  • Cross-Selling and Upselling: Identify opportunities to increase sales through cross-selling and upselling existing products and services.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research and analysis to stay informed about industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activity.
  • Performance Metrics: Track and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure sales performance and identify areas for improvement.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management.
  • Proven track record of driving business growth and revenue expansion.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
