Takeaway Operations Manager

We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced manager to lead daily operations of a takeaway business, ensuring efficient and seamless service.

  • Lead and supervise staff in maintaining high standards of food preparation, safety, and exceptional customer service.
  • Manage staff rostering, ensuring appropriate coverage and compliance with labour regulations.
  • Conduct comprehensive staff training, emphasizing key skills and competencies.
  • Effectively manage stock and inventory, including ordering, monitoring supplies, and minimizing wastage.
  • Operate the point-of-sale system proficiently, ensuring accurate order processing and sales reporting.
  • Oversee opening and closing procedures, including cash reconciliation and adherence to security protocols.
  • Provide prompt and friendly service to customers, handling food preparation, packaging, and serving as needed.
  • Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, encouraging teamwork, growth, and customer satisfaction.
  • Utilize strong communication skills in English and Mandarin to effectively interact with both customers and staff.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a similar management role within the food industry is highly desirable.
  • Familiarity with point-of-sale systems or similar software.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to effectively manage daily operations.
  • Excellent leadership skills to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Good verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin to facilitate seamless communication.
  • Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and procedures.
